In response to the journal preceeding this.

Anyways, I feel like I'm slowly starting to get the hang of things. I comment on an average of about 75% of deviations that I come across. I still don't comment on polls, even when they ask for it(D:), but I do comment on journals when I feel like I can.

It's funny, but at first, I really struggled with what to say- how do you make a comment that is unique and well thought-out when so many other people have commented saying similar things? Well, actually, it's not that difficult. As long as people see that you aren't just writing a 'good job' or 'awesome!!!11!1!!' in the comments, the occasional repeat of some things are fine. And once I figured that out, and relaxed, everything came so much more easily for me.

I should really work on poll commenting- especially when it is asked for. :(

But I do comment on journals more often. Only when I think it's appropriate, though. Some journals seem too personal, or are directed at people that do not include me, and I don't want to get involved.

But, for all you folks reading this out there... comment on this! How are you progressing since you read this: [link] ? Have you gone back to lurking, or are you trying but still struggling? Or are you prancing around, singing and throwing flowers and heaping comments on people because your heart grew three sizes after reading Frosted-Signature's journal? Tell the truth! Be honest with yourself. Even if the answer is that you put your name on the list and never thought about it again, admit it! Acceptance is the first step to healing... or something like that.

Anyways, uh, comment and tell me how you are doing.
